About the Role
Assistant Track and Field Coach – Sprints and Hurdles within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This is a full-time, term position.
Responsibilities
- Coaches, recruits, and provides academic oversight for student-athletes.
- Performs administrative duties related to the track & field/cross country programs.
- Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated successful experience coaching or competitive experience with sprints and/or hurdles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community, and media.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service.
