Assistant Teaching Professor/ Associate Teaching Professor/ Full Teaching Professor

Responsibilities

Duties include a teaching load of six courses for the academic year (three courses per semester) in core master’s degree courses, with a specific need in public budgeting and finance, at the national, state, and local levels. Additional teaching areas might include administrative ethics, policy analysis, principles of public administration, personnel management, and related comparative or international areas. Courses will be offered on campus in Boston or online. Student advising, professional development, and service are also expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Public Administration, Public Policy or a related field in hand by the employment start date is required.
• Candidates seeking appointment at the Associate Teaching Professor level should already hold a position at the rank of Associate Teaching Professor or have a comparable level of experience.
• Candidates seeking appointment at the Full Teaching Professor level should already hold a position at the rank of Full Teaching Professor or have a comparable level of experience.

Please highlight any pedagogical innovations, experiential learning activities, or strategies for teaching a global student population. We welcome candidates who can demonstrate the inclusion of AI tools and ethics into the curriculum.
• Experience with or interest in developing community partnerships for experiential learning projects is highly valued.

Pay Range

• Assistant Teaching Professor: $76,000.00 - $94,000.00
• Associate Teaching Professor: $84,000.00 - $95,000.00
• Full Teaching Professor: $93,000.00 - $105,000.00
