Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor

About the role

The Department seeks applications for two teaching positions at the level of Assistant Teaching Professor available beginning September 2026, subject to the availability of funding, with the possibility of appointment at a higher level for well-qualified candidates. These are renewable positions. The initial contract is normally one year, with renewal contracts typically for multi-year terms. Each position runs during the academic year, with a possibility of teaching during the summer for additional salary.

Responsibilities

• Teach four undergraduate mathematics courses in each of the fall and spring semesters
• Teaching reductions for administrative, advising or other departmental duties may apply

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field
• Outstanding evidence of teaching at the undergraduate level
• At least three years teaching experience by the start date

• Associate Teaching Professor: $84,950
