Assistant Supervisor, Food & Beverage

What You Get To Do

• Provide the highest level of guest service and satisfaction.
• Lead team to deliver superior guest service.
• Keep ambassadors motivated and energized.
• Open and close facilities in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide menu and park information to guests.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues.
• Ensure meal and rest periods are provided.
• Monitor stations to ensure food looks pleasing and is portioned correctly.
• Monitor temperatures and take appropriate action.
• Supervise and train ambassadors.
• Authorize ambassador over-rings.
• Monitor food waste and educate ambassadors.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities.
• Represent the park with a positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve food for park guests.
• Clean facilities, operate kitchen equipment, and assist with training and supervision.
• Respond to guest requirements, expectations, and needs.

What It Takes To Succeed

• One to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pass ServSafe exam before starting.
• Pass Alcohol training upon selection.
• Pass Food Handlers test and maintain valid Food Handlers card.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Able to use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, stoop, crawl, or kneel.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work indoors and in outdoor weather conditions.
