Job Description
- Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations on a $100M+ ground-up multifamily development
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics to ensure safe and efficient project execution
- Monitor project schedules and support milestone achievement throughout construction
- Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections to ensure quality control standards are met
- Assist with safety compliance initiatives and maintain a safe jobsite environment
- Collaborate closely with project management, ownership, design teams, and trade partners
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and field communications using Procore and related software
- Support project closeout activities and turnover procedures
The Successful Applicant
- 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably as an Assistant Superintendent
- Open to junior Superintendents willing to step into an Assistant Superintendent role
- Experience on large-scale ground-up construction projects required
- Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
- Experience working for reputable General Contractors or Developers
- Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety
- Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to commute daily to Allston, MA
