Job Description

  • Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations on a $100M+ ground-up multifamily development
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics to ensure safe and efficient project execution
  • Monitor project schedules and support milestone achievement throughout construction
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Assist with safety compliance initiatives and maintain a safe jobsite environment
  • Collaborate closely with project management, ownership, design teams, and trade partners
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and field communications using Procore and related software
  • Support project closeout activities and turnover procedures

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably as an Assistant Superintendent
  • Open to junior Superintendents willing to step into an Assistant Superintendent role
  • Experience on large-scale ground-up construction projects required
  • Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working for reputable General Contractors or Developers
  • Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety
  • Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to commute daily to Allston, MA
