Assistant Superintendent
About the Role
F.H. Paschen, with over 115 years of experience in the construction industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. This position reports to the Superintendent in charge of the project and the General Superintendent. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from highways and airports to rail stations and schools, while embodying our core values of versatility, tenacity, ingenuity, and pride.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day supervision of the project
- Assist with supervision of company field labor and subcontractor activities
- Assist in maintaining project safety
- Assist in maintaining project housekeeping and clean up of the job site
- Assist in maintaining appropriate project documentation
- Assist in resolving any field conflicts
- Assist in ensuring proper job sequencing
- Coordinate and receive deliveries
- Conduct regular project visits
- Oversee your own projects when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in General Construction required
- Some working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations beneficial
