Assistant Superintendent

About the role

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a new Greenfield Data Center project in Manassas, VA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent by managing designated field activities associated with the project
• Supervise designated field construction work by subcontractors and employees
• Project Financial Responsibilities:
  • Preconstruction Services
  • Project Start-up and Scheduling
  • Project Administration, Operations, and Close-Out
• Promote Customer Relations
• Promote Culture, Leadership and Employee Development

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six years of commercial construction field experience
• Two years of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management
• Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)
• Ability to read plans and specs

Qualifications

• Data Center experience is preferred, but not required, for this role

Skills

• OSHA training (30 hours once every four years, or STS certification)

Pay

$95,000-115,000/year

Schedule

30 hours of OSHA training once every four years, or maintain STS certification.
