Assistant Studio Manager - Mercer Island
About the role
The Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) works closely with the Studio Manager to ensure the front of the house operations run smoothly. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic-duo, a positive influence to the ultimate studio dream team, and someone who can represent the Orangetheory brand.
Responsibilities
- Greeting everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge
- Presenting the OTF concept to any interested consumers, also known as “intros”
- Working at the front desk which includes answering phones and talking to members among other tasks
- Giving studio tours
- Working hand-in-hand with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout
- Selling memberships to help the studio thrive
- Following up on prospective clients
- Handling members’ concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
- Participating in marketing and outreach events
- Ensuring all areas of the studio are kept clean and organized
Requirements
- A passion for fitness and a desire to help others achieve their health goals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience in a customer service or sales role is a plus
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role
- Orangetheory Fitness certification is preferred but not required
