Every workout follows a strategic 8-week training cycle meticulously planned and backed by sports science.
About the Role
D1 Coaches implement and instill the D1 training philosophy into every workout, exhibiting the ability to adapt and customize programs to tailor them to each athlete. They take a personal stake in the lives of our athletes, maintaining regular contact and monitoring their individual progress toward their goals. As an integral part of the best training environment in the industry, D1 Coaches are catalysts for fulfilling our promise: “You pick the goal, we help you get there.”
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Assist Head strength coaches during classes.
- Modify and adapt movements best suited for the individual athlete.
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
- Start and finish workouts on time.
- Build and maintain relationships with each D1 member.
- Assist in coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams.
- Deliver accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition.
- Teach proper form and technique to keep all athletes safe.
Requirements
- Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently or plans to attend school for a fitness-based curriculum.
- Currently or plans to attain a certification in the fitness industry.
