Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Certified by one of these national accredited governing bodies: CSCS, SCCC, USAW.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- Demonstrated history of rules compliance and thorough knowledge of NCAA bylaws.
- Strong commitment to the welfare of student-athletes and a reputation of integrity, both professionally and personally.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication and administrative abilities.
- Demonstrated ability working in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to successfully pass NCAA Coaches Examination on an annual basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the oversight of the strength and conditioning program for 11 NCAA sports.
- Work in conjunction with the head strength and conditioning coach to organize and design strength, power, speed, and agility programs for teams.
- Responsible for complying with all institutional, conference (California Collegiate Athletic Association), and NCAA policies and regulations.
Reports to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, under the direction of the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Pay
The full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) monthly salary range for this classification is $6,288-$7,658, in accordance with the CSU Unit 3 salary schedule. Actual salary is commensurate with education and experience. Salary will be prorated based on time base.
