Vince is seeking a dynamic, customer service-driven Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, maximize profits, sales, and customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual productivity and sales goals
- Assist in achieving and exceeding the store’s productivity and sales goals
- Model exceptional customer service behavior and coach staff to achieve the same results
- Practice and teach client development to the staff
- Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, training, motivating, and retaining quality sales associates
- Evaluate individual associate’s performance relative to goals
- Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including paperwork reconciliation and operational tasks
- Protect store assets and inventory; report potential shrinkage to the Store Manager
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Manage client book and clienteling activities
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in luxury retail management
- Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Computer skills, including operation of retail point-of-sale systems, Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds and use ladders or stairs
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to delegate responsibility and work effectively with staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, outgoing, high-energy personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Sales-focused with full ownership of the store’s business at all levels
- Ability to mentor and develop staff, identifying strengths and opportunities

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $24 to $25 hourly. Exact salary depends on experience, skills, budget, and geographic location.
