About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking on primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Responsibilities

• Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional customer experiences that maximize sales and drive loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, addressing their strengths and opportunities. Maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Operations: Manage store processes, including inventory, payroll, and store operations. Ensure compliance with company directives and utilize digital strategies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
