At Karl Lagerfeld Paris, Assistant Managers play a key role in driving business success by working directly with Store Managers to promote operational effectiveness and ensure customers remain the top priority. They deliver superior customer service and inspire associates to excel as role models. Assistant Managers also maintain the store’s visual appeal, ensuring it is clean, well-organized, and meets visual merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Meet personal sales goals and motivate the team to drive store sales performance.
• Service: Provide exemplary customer service and ensure the team follows suit. Maximize profitability through excellent service, maintain clean customer areas, and present merchandise according to company standards.
• Leadership: Direct associates to ensure floor coverage and completion of daily tasks.
• Training:
  • Assist in developing a sales-focused store staff.
  • Ensure new associates are thoroughly trained and oriented to company standards.
  • Monitor associate success and coach them to meet company expectations.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and boost store morale by recognizing associate successes.

Requirements

• Two or more years of successful specialty retail experience in a leadership role; fashion retail preferred.
• Post-secondary education encouraged; retail management degree a plus.
• Experience in client outreach, appointment setting, and maintaining a relevant client book/network.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, promoting effective sales and customer relations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and qualities.
