About the role

Oversee the daily operations, sales quotas, financial responsibilities, and strategic priorities. You will hire, inspire, motivate, coach, and develop staff. You will monitor customer satisfaction and other sales metrics to ensure exceptional performance. You will serve as a role model for selling capability, understand and capitalize on growth opportunities based on the local market, and coordinate customer training events to expand market potential. You will be the point of escalation for procedural questions, technical/product questions, selling/coaching guidance, and customer service issues.

Responsibilities

  • Operations
    • Lead and ensure all store operational elements, policies, procedures, standards, and results are effectively managed and meet excellence standards.
    • Ensure store compliance with all corporate policies and applicable employment laws, treating all team members fairly and consistently.
    • Find innovative solutions to improve store operations and promote continual improvement with operational teams.
    • Provide support for other duties as assigned.
  • Analytics
    • Analyze store financial and performance results; develop strategic action plans to increase sales and control costs.
    • Conduct root cause and countermeasure analysis to address shortfalls and maximize results.
    • Leverage company analytical tools to assist with decision-making and performance management.
  • People & Performance Management
    • Establish clear team goals and expectations; maximize store performance.
    • Own company staffing needs through partnership with talent acquisition, effective planning, participation in the interview process, and making hiring decisions.
    • Address issues related to performance, conduct, and discipline per company guidelines; ensure expectations of appropriate behaviors are established within the sales organization.
    • Seek advice from the human resources department as appropriate.
  • Training & Personal Development
    • Ensure applicable team training is completed on time; provide follow-up, coaching, mentoring, and support career development.
    • Find innovative solutions to missed opportunities within your sales team through training and action planning.
    • Continually work on improving personal areas of opportunity and professional development.
  • Communication
    • Conduct weekly one-on-one staff meetings and foster an environment of open communication between sales, operations, and corporate teams.
    • Respond effectively and efficiently to customers, suppliers, and corporate team members in a timely manner.
    • Partner with suppliers to conduct joint store marketing and selling events focused on increasing customer sales, leads, and brand advocacy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Ability to adapt and work in adverse situations.
  • Proven leadership and sales results experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in security distribution.
  • Previous Salesforce experience.

Pay

The typical hiring salary for this role ranges from USD $55,476.69 to $94,460.31 per year, varying by specific work location. Base pay is determined based on market conditions, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 42.86% of your annual salary, prorated based on hire date. Attaining your sales target qualifies you for 100% of your annual sales incentive, while surpassing sales targets enables you to earn additional incentive pay.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
