Assistant Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Assistant Sourcing Specialist supports the lifecycle day-to-day management throughout product development, bulk order commitment and garment delivery. This individual will possess business acumen and apply to this role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Sourcing organization
• Ensure the ability to meet customer demands by offering the highest quality product on time, at the best value possible.
• Development of samples in multiple apparel/ accessories categories.
• Gain an understanding of development, pricing, sourcing and production strategies.
• Through daily written and verbal communication with our global sourcing partners, to build strong relationships to ensure implementation of QVC's standards and procedures.
• Maintain weekly production status (WIP) to ensure compliance with calendar schedule and on time delivery.
• Understand all milestones within the product development calendar and adhere to the sourcing specific responsibilities.
• Manage WIP (Work in Progress) and TNA to ensure milestone compliance.
• Be a supportive partner to CFT (Cross Functional Team) - Design, Technical Design and Buying.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Product Design preferred)

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office; strong Excel Skills required, Flex PLM knowledge a plus

Schedule

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Studio Park in West Chester, PA several days per month.
