Assistant Strategic Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Provide support for Integrated Facilities clients and internal stakeholders related to optimization of JLL managed services operations and sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering supplier and operational improvements; leading and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Support and guide operations teams through RFP/bid processes, contracting, and operational workflows while proactively managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Initiate and monitor Sourcing Requests for contract extensions, renewals, and new service agreements.
  • Coordinate with Shared Services, Corporate Legal, and Risk Management to ensure contractual compliance and obtain required approvals for terms and conditions.
  • Partner with Sourcing Leader to prioritize deliverables, resolve operational issues, and maintain client satisfaction through effective resource coordination.
  • Provide analysis and deliver appropriate compliance reports to Sourcing Lead, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions for system discrepancies.
  • Conduct system audits to validate accuracy of KPI reporting.
  • Verify that compensation rates in Work Order systems reflect current service agreements and contractual rate adjustments.

Required qualifications

  • 2-5 years strategic sourcing experience, preferably in Indirect Services.
  • Excellent inter-personal and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Proven ability to work independently while supporting teams in decentralized environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., Aravo, Jaggaer, Corrigo, Avetta) and vendor management platforms highly desired.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract management, including renewals, negotiations, and compliance monitoring.
  • Analytical mindset with experience maintaining 95%+ compliance rates.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Project management and business transitions experience preferred.
  • Experience developing process improvement initiatives and tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with RFP development and execution processes.
  • Knowledge of alliance partner programs and strategic sourcing best practices.
