About the role

The Assistant Account Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Account Manager at the assigned post. They assist with the coordination of all aspects of the security contract, supervise and train Security Professionals, and ensure the proper maintenance of the post.

Responsibilities

  • Assigns work tasks to Security Professionals and directs their work throughout the day
  • Supervises, motivates, coaches, and trains Security Professionals
  • Maintains and updates Post Order manuals and other post and training information
  • Conducts interviews and evaluates new employees
  • Conducts on-the-job training for new employees and reviews post orders
  • Manages and supervises all sub-units within the Security Department
  • Generates work orders and paperwork for extra security coverage requests
  • Responds to minor incidents and ensures appropriate action is taken
  • Identifies and addresses personnel problems and forwards issues to the Account Manager or Field Supervisor
  • Writes reports or assists with investigations as directed
  • Makes recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action, including termination
  • Executes counseling or disciplinary actions at the direction of the Account Manager with approval from Branch/Corporate HR management
  • Responds to client or site emergencies and ensures appropriate communication
  • Supports positive client/security relationships through frequent contact and support

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional-level experience
  • Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military
  • Valid state Guard License or application for one
  • Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
  • Pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test
  • Available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • Energetic and focused personality with initiative and strong customer service orientation
  • Good independent judgment and discretion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to train and coach others
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and email

Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to enforce company policies equitably and consistently are essential.

Pay

$54,995.20.00 per year
