Supplemental Health Care is hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants to work at a partnering school district in Lee's Summit, Missouri. School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Contract Details: Start Date: ASAP; Duration: 13 weeks (9-week contracts); 37.5 hours per week; Shift: 8 hours, days; Employment Type: Local Contract.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement the therapy treatment program aligned to student goals
- Collect therapy data and monitor progress toward student goals
- Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
- Assigned schools may include various grade levels
- May be asked to travel between school locations
Requirements
- Missouri COTA License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required

Pay
$31.90 - $34.35 per hour. Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 37.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
37.5 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. 13-week contract (9-week contracts also mentioned).
