Assistant Salon Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist

About the role

You’ll provide exceptional leadership, guest service, understand your guest’s needs, provide quality consultations and perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the salon manager
• Perform hair services (haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, specialty services) with proprietary tools and techniques
• Conduct guest consultations and deliver high-quality service
• Perform administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by State regulations
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Tech-savvy with administrative capabilities

Physical Requirements

• Good eyesight, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements
• Occasionally lift 10-25 lbs
• Ability to tolerate exposure to chemicals and fragrances used in salon treatments
