Assistant Salon Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist

About the role

You’ll provide exceptional leadership, guest service, understand your guest’s needs, provide quality consultations and perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the salon manager
• Perform hair services (haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, specialty services) using proprietary tools and techniques
• Conduct client consultations and deliver personalized experiences
• Close out the system at the end of the day
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain tech-savvy workflows

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Good eyesight (close vision, color vision, focus adjustment)
• Comfort with standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements
• Occasional lifting of 10–25 lbs
• Tolerance for salon fragrances and chemical treatments
