Assistant Salon Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist

About the role

You’ll provide exceptional leadership, guest service, understand your guest’s needs, provide quality consultations and perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist a salon manager
• Perform administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day
• Deliver high-quality hair services (haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, and specialty services)
• Use proprietary tools and techniques to ensure client satisfaction
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by State regulations
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Tech-savvy with comfort using salon management systems

Physical Requirements

• Good eyesight, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements
• Ability to lift 10-25 lbs occasionally
• Tolerance for fragrances and chemicals used in salon treatments
