We are seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to join our team at Goshen Commons. This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support daily salon operations
• Encourage and support the team
• Lead with confidence
• Grow leadership skills and take on more responsibility

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service
• A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
• Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly

Qualifications

• An interest in leadership and supporting others is just as important as prior experience
• Will still be cutting hair in this role
• This role is often a stepping stone toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions
