Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service

• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
• Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly

Pay

$20–$22+/hr to start. Top stylists are out here clearing $40+/hr once you stack up those tips, bonuses, and performance incentives.
