Responsibilities

• Support daily salon operations
• Coach and develop the team
• Deliver consistent, high-quality service

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service
• A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
• Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly
• An interest in growing your leadership skills and taking on more responsibility

Qualifications

• Interest in leadership and supporting others is just as important as prior experience
• Will still be cutting hair in this role
• This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed
• Often a stepping stone toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions
• Receives training in management and operations through Great Clips University (GCU), along with ongoing support and instruction from salon management
