Assistant Regional GME Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and oversight of assigned Residency Programs in the Region under the direction of the DIO and in collaboration with the Regional Graduate Medical Education (GME) Manager.
• Design curricular rotations, track program expenses, troubleshoot residency issues, and evaluate and enhance the program.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME policies in conjunction with the Program Director and the Regional GME Manager.
• Oversee assigned program coordinators, residents/fellows, and collaborate with departments and faculty to develop course, academic, and research programs.
• Provide counsel on various accreditation and education matters for assigned GME Office staff, leadership, program coordinators, and directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in a related area.
• Experience with developing and implementing program ideas into successful academic programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and diplomatically handling problems of a sensitive and/or confidential nature.
• Superior organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in an ACGME accredited program (one (1) year may be acceptable).
• Experience and understanding of ACGME, NRMP, ERAS, ABFM, and ECFMG.
• Experience with New Innovations and ACGME webADs.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $83,470.40 to $99,590.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
