Assistant Recreation Programmer (Part-Time)

Description

The Assistant Recreation Programmer (Part-Time) assists with the daily operations of an assigned recreation center to include programming, special events, supervising facilities and daily cleaning/maintenance of the facility. Experience working in a recreation center or setting and working with diverse populations is preferred.

The preferred applicant will have an Associates Degree in Recreation or a related field. Must be available to work a varied schedule throughout the week with primary duty hours being worked in the afternoons and evenings.

Minimum age of 16. Must possess a valid Class "C" driver's license from NC.

Major Duties

• Assists with the daily operations of the recreation department and facilities.
• Supervising facility.
• Daily cleaning/maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Experience working in a recreation center or setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations.

An employee in this position will have successfully passed a "Functional Prework Screen" administered by a professional and impartial third party specialist.
