Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Michigan
• Possess effective oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and extremely motivated
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience litigating violent crimes

Typical Job Duties

• Prosecute complex and difficult cases involving gangs/groups and high impact offenders
• Prosecute high visibility/media cases
• Conduct investigative subpoenas, motion and bond hearings, preliminary examinations, trials, and sentencings
• Interview victims, witnesses and, in some instances, conduct investigative subpoenas
• Provide zealous and effective advocacy on behalf of the People of the State of Michigan
• Participate in Community crime prevention events and attend crime intelligence briefings
• Perform other related duties as assigned
