Responsibilities
- Represent the State of Ohio in felony criminal prosecutions.
- Appear before the Greene County Court of Common Pleas for docket cases.
- Handle case intake and probable cause determinations.
- Present criminal cases before a grand jury.
- Conduct pre‑trial motion practice.
- Try cases before a jury or the Court.
- Engage in post‑conviction motion practice.
- Collaborate with law‑enforcement officers and victim advocates to prepare cases for trial.
Qualifications
- Attorney licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Preferably at least three years of litigation experience, including jury trial experience.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work within a team dynamic.
- Applicants separating from the armed forces are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Extraordinarily qualified applicants with less than three years of experience will be considered.
- All applicants with less than three years of practice must include law school transcripts.

Pay
Salary range: $72,500.00 to $87,500.00, depending upon the experience level of the applicant.
Schedule
Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Actual work hours for the felony docket position will vary, and docket prosecutors have an on‑call responsibility.
