Assistant Property Manager
About the role
Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, is seeking bright, dynamic leaders who have a passion for service and a commitment to excellence. The Assistant Manager will assist the Property Manager with daily operations, provide exceptional leadership to the team, and focus on professional development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and schedule property viewings and conduct property tours and interviews with prospective tenants.
- Address and resolve residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Process applications, conduct credit checks, and negotiate contracts.
- Inspect property conditions and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Manage budgets, accounts, rent collections, and tenant notices.
- Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants.
- Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
- Report any problems or issues to the property manager.
- Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and demonstrating effective interpersonal skills.
- Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle as required to perform job duties; willingness and ability to drive for work-related purposes as needed.

Qualifications and Education
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role or related field
- Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to change

Physical Demands
The position regularly requires sitting for long periods, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and communicating with residents, staff, family members, and the public.
Work Environment
This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office with a mixture of natural, incandescent, and fluorescent light. Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common; occasional exposure to extreme conditions including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks. Periodic confinement to a vehicle may also occur.
