Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering disciplines and global practice teams in the execution of Design-only and/or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
- Assist in the development of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, bid / proposal responses, manage the bid and selection process, and contribute to the creation of detailed scopes of work for downstream contracts.
- Manage contractor submittals, requests for information (RFIs), supplemental design instructions, and site drawing logs.
- Maintain document control, manage databases, and coordinate and track project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parameters.
- Administer contract execution, including change order management, field change directives, invoice approvals, and schedule oversight.
- Contribute to project controls efforts, including cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structure (WBS) development, project setup and closeout in accounting systems, and field progress tracking.
- Prepare and maintain internal and external reports, including budget analyses, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and project status updates for stakeholders.
- Participate in project risk reviews and coordinate with the Legal Department as necessary.
- Ensure proper closeout of all project and contract documentation.
- Adhere to Burns & McDonnell’s safety programs, trainings, and policies, as well as promote and manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management or coordination.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, including flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera Contract Manager or similar change management software is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including clients, contractors, engineers, and designers.
Pay
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 yearly
