Assistant Project Manager - Data Centers

The Boldt Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support projects ranging from large ground-up healthcare facilities to complex data center construction. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will partner with Project Managers and field leadership teams to help drive project execution from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include managing RFIs and submittals, supporting procurement and subcontractor coordination, tracking project costs and budgets, assisting with schedule management, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in construction operations, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow into a lead project management role while contributing to the safe, successful delivery of complex construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage RFIs and submittals
- Support procurement and subcontractor coordination
- Track project costs and budgets
- Assist with schedule management
- Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of construction experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or other related degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to support RFIs, submittals, and procurement tracking
- Willingness to engage daily with Superintendents and field teams
- Experience in tracking productivity, percent complete, and schedule updates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-energy jobsite environment
- Desire to grow a long-term career in construction management

- Scheduling experience or interest in look-ahead planning
- Experience supporting multiple subcontractors or scopes
