Assistant Project Accountant-Construction
About the Role
AECOM Hunt has an opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Project Accountant in Indianapolis, IN. This position allows for hybrid work as approved by management. Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision. Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings. Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices. Performs audits and generates special financial reports. Reviews projects for accurate revenue recognition and provides project analysis and recommendations based on findings. Matrixed environment, reports to local Project Executive and Regional Controller.

Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in accounting, finance or similar field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience in construction accounting
- Experience with construction financial documentation
- Strong Excel experience
- CMiC or Textura experience is preferred
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
Pay
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $24.94 to $43.65 hourly.
