About the role
The Assistant Project Accountant assists and supports the project team by maintaining accurate and complete accounting records. The role works under direct supervision, gathering and distributing information.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and submission of invoices for assigned projects
- Review and process subcontractor applications for payment and general condition invoices
- Data entry for owner billings, subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders
- Payment of general payables
Requirements
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- 1+ years of experience with data processing of invoices, electronic filing, emails, etc.
- General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and cost accounting
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Must be a team player with strong organizational and accounting skills

Pay
Salary range: USD $61,525.00 – $83,000.00 per year.
