Assistant Program Coordinator

About the role

Soccer Shots Kalamazoo is searching for a Full‑Time Assistant Program Coordinator. The Assistant Program Coordinator will coach 20–25 hours per week during the season and assist the Program Director with scheduling, marketing, and customer service. Coaching takes place in daycares, preschools, and parks throughout Kalamazoo County. Soccer Shots provides training, apparel, equipment, and all curriculum materials.

Responsibilities

• Coach Soccer Shots sessions (30‑45 minutes) for groups of children, delivering the curriculum and fostering basic soccer skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
• Assist the Program Director in scheduling classes and sessions.
• Support marketing efforts and customer service activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and energetic environment for each session, following lesson plans and age‑appropriate order.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
