Assistant Professor- Strategic Management

The Strategy faculty routinely publish in top-tier journals and host internationally-known scholars in the department’s research seminar series.

About the Role

The Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management at the Zicklin School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Strategic Management, commencing in August 2027, subject to final budget approval.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rigorous research agenda in strategic management, leading to publications in top-tier journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and Journal of International Business Studies.
• Contribute to the doctoral concentration in Management & Entrepreneurship.
• Teach BBA courses in strategic management (junior faculty) and contribute to MBA and MS level courses (senior faculty).
• Support the growth initiatives for the BBA in Management.
• Teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid) and participate in Zicklin programs offered both on campus and with global partners.

Requirements

• PhD (or ABD) in Strategic Management or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching students in a campus environment with a substantial population of first-generation college students.
• Ability to teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid).

Pay

$163,000 - $178,500; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
