About the role

Supports inpatient psychiatry services at a new TGH Behavioral Health Hospital. This position provides inpatient clinical care and case management to include the diagnosis, treatment and management of adult patients in an inpatient ED setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides inpatient psychiatry services and call coverage at Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital to include the assessment, diagnosis and treatment
  • Completes clinical documentation and other tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency training program
  • Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor
  • Candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license
  • This candidate must obtain credentialing with USF Health and Tampa General Hospital
  • Inpatient Psychiatry experience
