Assistant Professor - Ophthalmology

Responsibilities

The duties include delivering excellent patient care, teaching of residents at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and VA Medical System, on-call coverage, and opportunities for clinical research.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved residency program as well as postgraduate fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
• Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure to practice.
• In addition to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as participation in academic activities.
• Experience in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus is required.
• Incumbent will be credentialed as medical staff to provide patient care services within Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and affiliated locations.
