About the role

The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology seeks a full-time academic ophthalmologist specializing in Comprehensive Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

  • Enjoy a robust clinical practice with academic responsibilities including the didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents.
  • Opportunities to conduct clinical research supported by an institutional trials team exist.
  • Engage in clinical and surgical activities at the Huntington campus facility.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for licensure in West Virginia.
  • Completion of an ABOIM-approved residency program in Ophthalmology.
  • Successful completion of the American Board of Ophthalmology certification exam.

  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.
