About the role

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine seeks a board-certified Ophthalmologist with experience in the Oculoplastic subspecialty.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the clinical practice of the Department of Ophthalmology.
  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Serve as an attending physician.
  • Supervise residents and students assigned to the Ophthalmology department.
  • Provide, develop, and maintain clinical services.
  • Develop academic pursuits in the Oculoplastic subspecialty.

Requirements

  • M.D.
  • Board-certified Ophthalmologist with experience in the Oculoplastic subspecialty.
  • Experience in providing direct patient care.
  • Ability to serve as an attending physician.
  • Supervisory experience with residents and students.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining clinical services.
  • Academic pursuit in the Oculoplastic subspecialty.

Qualifications

  • MD Required.
  • License/Registration/Certification: M.D.
