Responsibilities
- Advise doctoral students
- Chair doctoral student dissertation committees
- Teach courses
- Contribute to academic service
- Define and sustain an innovative and externally funded program of research focused on youth and technology education
Requirements
- Expertise in K-12 technology education programs
- Research focus and development experience that complements current faculty
- Ability to build and expand K-12 technology education research and development at Florida State University
- Experience generating and leading externally funded research and/or development projects
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field
- Strong record of research and publication
- Effective teaching and mentoring skills
- Experience working with K-12 students and educators
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong project management and leadership abilities
