Responsibilities

  • Advise doctoral students
  • Chair doctoral student dissertation committees
  • Teach courses
  • Contribute to academic service
  • Define and sustain an innovative and externally funded program of research focused on youth and technology education

Requirements

  • Expertise in K-12 technology education programs
  • Research focus and development experience that complements current faculty
  • Ability to build and expand K-12 technology education research and development at Florida State University
  • Experience generating and leading externally funded research and/or development projects

Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Strong record of research and publication
  • Effective teaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience working with K-12 students and educators

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities
