About the role
This position is a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Florida Center for Research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (C-FRSTEM) within the Learning Systems Institute (LSI) and the School of Information (SOI) at Florida State University.
Responsibilities
- Advise doctoral students and chair doctoral student dissertation committees.
- Teach courses in technology and education.
- Contribute to academic service.
- Define and sustain an innovative and externally funded program of research focused on technology education and/or educational technology.
- Generate and lead externally funded research and/or development projects.
Requirements
- Commitment to research, mentorship, teaching, and advising with equity, inclusion, and social justice as guiding principles.
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Evidence of research productivity and potential for external funding.
- Experience in K-12 technology education programs is preferred.
