About the role
The Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students within the clinical setting and participation as an active member of one or more Penn graduate groups.
- Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the outpatient setting and as an attending on an inpatient consult service.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishing an innovative, independent research program in human genetics, genomic medicine, and/or translational science that will attract and maintain extramural funding from various sources.
- The successful candidate will be expected to publish scholarship in peer reviewed journals.
Requirements
- An M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.
Skills
- Ability to establish an innovative, independent research program in human genetics, genomic medicine, and/or translational science.
- Ability to publish scholarship in peer reviewed journals.
