Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine
About the role
The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a non-tenured Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine who is board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
The Physician will provide patient care at our OSF Little Company of Mary contracted site in the Emergency Medicine department.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care at the contracted site
- Contribute to the department's mission of addressing health disparities
- Participate in research and development of innovations in emergency care
- Collaborate with other departments within the university and community partners
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
Qualifications
- Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible
- Experience in providing patient care in an emergency medicine setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The budgeted salary for the position range is $277,567.00 and will be eligible for a night shift differential. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
