About the role
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise in Emergency Medicine is required.
Responsibilities
- Bedside clinical teaching of emergency medicine residents and students
- Lectures, journal clubs, case conferences, simulation teaching, and small group discussions
- Provide outstanding clinical care to emergency department patients at one or more of our three city hospitals: Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital
Patients include high-acuity, complex cases as well as less acute illnesses and injuries. Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Requirements
- M.D. degree
- ABEM certified or board eligible
Mid-career faculty with local and/or national recognition in their area of interest/expertise are encouraged to apply.
