About the role
The successful candidate would help facilitate the expansion of the intramural Oral Surgery faculty practice and provide clinical and didactic teaching at the graduate level as part of the continuous development of the CODA accredited General Practice Residency program of Cabell Huntington Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, and Marshall University School of Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department
- Teach residents and medical students in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Participate in scholarly activities and clinical research
Requirements
- MD or DDS degree from an accredited institution
- Current Medical Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
