Job Description
The Department of Accounting and Finance at California State University, Stanislaus invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting position beginning August 2027. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate accounting courses—particularly in Intermediate Accounting—conducting and publishing scholarly research, and providing service to the department, college, and university. Teaching will primarily occur at the Turlock campus, with opportunities for summer appointments. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and contributing to a diverse and inclusive academic community.
Minimum Requirements
- Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB-accredited doctoral institution at the time of appointment.
Screening Process
The search committee representatives will be meeting with qualified interested candidates at the AAA meeting. Screening of completed application files will begin in August, 2026.

Pay
$10,386 - $10,915 per month for Assistant Professor (12 monthly payments per academic year).
