Assistant Professor of Accounting (9-month, Tenure Track)

About the role

The Assistant Professor of Accounting position is a nine-month appointment starting in August 2027. It requires strong teaching skills, commitment to research, and effective collaboration with faculty, students, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3 courses per semester
• Work on research projects commensurate with the teaching load
• Teach summer courses and apply for competitive research grants
• Teach in areas of auditing, financial systems, or taxation

Requirements

• Hold a PhD in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution
• Have teaching experience in various Accounting courses
• Preferred candidates have experience in teaching audit, tax, or systems
• ABDs near completion will be considered and hired at the rank of Instructor, with commensurate salary
