Assistant Professor - Laryngologist
About the role
The Emory University’s Department of Otolaryngology seeks one (1) full-time Laryngologist at the rank of Assistant Professor to join a robust team. Each position will have primary duties at the Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta. The employee will have an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor is anticipated, depending upon the candidate’s qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Primary duties at Emory University Hospital Midtown
- Teaching medical students, residents and fellows
- Participation in scholarly activities
- Conducting patient care
- Academic productivity
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Otolaryngology Laryngology fellowship
- Preferred research and publication history, experience in clinical and research mentorship, a national reputation among colleagues within the otolaryngology
- Eligibility for a valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
- A Controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology Otolaryngology Laryngology fellowship
- Preferred research and publication history, experience in clinical and research mentorship, a national reputation among colleagues within the otolaryngology
- Eligibility for a valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
