About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach and develop interdisciplinary courses in areas such as additive manufacturing, mechanical fabrication, production systems, automation and control, mechatronics, and sustainable technology practices.
- Engage in curriculum development and program assessment.
- Mentor students and contribute to college and university service.
- Develop and deliver well-structured, rigorous, and interdisciplinary courses.
- Use effective, innovative, and creative instructional methods that promote active learning and critical thinking.
Requirements
- Hold a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Engineering or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
- Prior college level teaching experience and industry engagement in entertainment, manufacturing, or related applied engineering fields are preferred.

Pay
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Contingent upon funding.
