Job Description
The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure/tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Genetics. The Department has begun a major expansion of the faculty as part of a 5-year strategic plan. We seek outstanding creative investigators in any area of genetics, including but not limited to gene expression and regulation, functional genomics and systems biology, developmental genetics, immunogenetics, molecular mechanisms of disease, evolutionary genetics, and other related fields.

PhD, MD or MD/PhD in the biomedical sciences or a related field of study
Expected Salary
Annual salary range is $110,000 - $130,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Preferred
Cutting edge research in the genetics of human disease including the genetics of microsatellite repeats.
